Star Sorters:

Star Sorters are used to size larger particulate, specifically 4 mesh and above (1/4" to 5/8" diameter).

Generally used as a "stack", individual plates are placed inside each other with the largest holed plates above the smaller holed plates and a solid (no holes) plate on the bottom. Material is then poured in the top and the stack of plates is shaken to size the material.

Star Sorters can be purchased individually or in "sets". There are 2 sets available, one that has plates in increments of 1/16" (7 plates) and another in 1/32" increments (12 plates). Included in the set price is a solid plate (no holes drilled) for both the top and the bottom of the stack of sorters.
